The Photographic Memory Kit Book A3 Sequence (tools - picture cards)

Bilingual (English and Chinese) description on how to play Sequence.

The exercise starts with few pictures, gradually increasing level of difficulty with more pictures with similar design but different colors.  Your child needs to be more focused and observe details while remembering the sequence patterns.

Select the same picture cards from Tool kit A3.  Place them at random order.  Ask your child to look at the page for 10-20 seconds (or less).  Cover page with paper.

Cover page with paper.  Ask your child to rearrange the picture cards in the same order.  Time given to child varies, if you wish to increase challenge, please reduce the time.

Let's check.  Is it the same sequence?  No?  Show your child the correct sequence, by placing the matching picture below it (see pic).  Good try! and HUG your child whatever the results ;) 

Just a few tips :

• Before the game, you and your child are fed, rested and happy.  Some parents sing a favourite song with funny actions or just hug the child and tell them you love them and enjoy playing these games with them.  When you and your toddler are relaxed, their brains 'open' and absorbs anything you show at that moment.
• Do demonstrate the game (adult plays the game first) if it's new to your child.
• Move to another book with different topics - let's keep the game fresh and fun. 
• Please do not play it if your child is not interested and try again at another time.  Some kids find these games fun a few days later, weeks or even months later.
